I wanted to run a character concept by you all. Basically my guy in the real world can work for the company that made Conduit. Perhaps he can be some kind of game scripter or coder? I mean this guy would be low on the totem pole in the company, not able to change much, but it would be nice to have some kind of coders screen on his HUD where he can change minor things, but not effect the world at large. If this isn't okay I won't run with it. If so, what limitations would you like me to add in?

That's what Copland does, albeit for a private company. A system as big as the Conduit is going to need IT people.
